There are a few teacher/coaches that were great motivators, but I'll only mention one for now. Coach Reeves was a great teacher and coach. He encouraged me to run track and helped me to see the potential in myself. Despite struggling with cancer, he was always there to encourage his team & stayed at the track as long as he could. He even drove all the way to Pearl to pick me up from a band trip just so I could compete in Columbus. He was awesome!!

Coach Adair or Dr. Cuicchi. The classes I took with those two are the classes I actually remember.

Morgan, I had Coach Adair in mind as well. His classes were my favorite and I really feel like I was challenge. I went into teaching hoping that I could model his teaching style. He even sent me some encouraging words before I started my first year of teaching. Really great teacher! Loved him for how he made us think outside of the box.

I would have to say Coach Reeves! He was always so postivie despite obstacles he faced & he was always so calm whenever students got a little "rowdy". He always knew how to handle any situation. Another influential teacher for me would be Mrs. Buss. She always pushed me to my full potential and always encouraged me to go above & beyond and to never just settle for "good" with my work.

Can we nominate substitute teachers? If so, I'm nominating Mr. Bateman. Got so trill when he had class

I'm in complete agreement with Byron Wilkes on his two choices. Coach Reeves would start conversations over current world events that would last an hour. I'd feel like I'd learned more in those conversations than in the other three blocks. With Mr. Bateman, well, I have him to thank for lots of laughs!
